Fastwyre Broadband’s Internet and cellular services in the Nome, Alaska area were impacted by a recent Quintillion subsea cable cut. We understand it may take several months for Quintillion to restore its service to full capacity. Fastwyre has restored cellular service and establish temporary alternate Internet connectivity. Given capacity constraints, Internet service will be available at reduced bandwidth until Quintillion fully restores its service. Customers will receive a credit for the duration of the cellular service impact and will not be charged for Internet services for the duration of the impact.
